20 Free Things to Do During the Summer in Paris | WhyRoamTravel.com

Paris can be pretty pricey.  But don’t fear, there are plenty of things you can do while in the City of Lights that won’t break the bank.  Here are 20 things you can do during your summer visit, all for the low, low price of free.

Louvre Museum in Paris | WhyRoamTravel.com

1. See some of the world’s greatest artwork
On the first Sunday of every month, museums are free. This is a great way to see some of the world’s greatest artwork at the Louvre Museum or Musée d’Orsay. I suggest going early before the doors open to stake your place in line. If you wait around and go a little later, you’ll waste half your day waiting in line to get in as these museums are always very crowded. Stop by your favorite boulangerie, pick up a pain au chocolat (click here to see where you can find the best pain au chocolat) to enjoy while you wait, and hustle to get in line at least 30 minutes before the museum doors open. You’ll be glad you did.

The fairy-tale town is mysteriously medieval, yet lovely and romantic.  It’s easy to explore by foot, and is home to some of the best chocolatiers in the world.

If you’re planning to visit Belgium, I highly recommend you plan to stop in Bruges. You won’t regret it. Guaranteed.

Where to Find the Best Breakfast in Prague | whyroamtravel.com

I don’t know about you, but I love a good breakfast.

On the weekends, a cup of coffee and a quick pastry just doesn’t cut it.  I like to take my time, relax and linger over breakfast.  Oh, and completely fill my tummy too.

Prague has quite a few places that do a great job with breakfast.  The dilemma is not just what to order, but which breakfast joint to visit on any given weekend.

Below are a few of my favorite places to go for breakfast in Prague.

Top 10 Things to Do, See & Eat When Visiting Brussels + A Magazine Feature

February 10, 2015 By Andrea

Top 10 Things to Do, See & Eat When Visiting Brussels | whyroamtravel.com

Brussels, the capital city of Belgium, is centrally located. It’s two hours or less away by train from a handful of other major cities like Paris, Amsterdam, London and Cologne, just to name a few. This makes Brussels a perfect hub and stopover city when traveling around Europe.

Brussels offers plenty to see and do, but even if it’s not your destination city when traveling and you only have a short time, you can still get a good taste of the city – both figuratively and literally.  And by literally, I’m referring to Belgian chocolate, waffles, fries and beer.  Yum!

If you’re planning a trip to Belgium, be sure to check out my list in the Insiders Abroad E-Magazine for the top 10 things to do, see and eat when visiting Brussels.

To check out the top 10 things to do in Brussels, jump to page 26. Just click on the magazine cover below.
